Harry had never really given much thought to the future. He preferred to let life steer him forward and to follow in the footsteps of Louis, his best friend from as far as his memory went, his lover, his everything. Louis knew better than he did what was good for him.
It changed drastically when Louis was ripped away from him, drafted and sent to the front to fight in a war that Harry had always been sure would never reach him. Too young and too sickly to follow, Harry was left on his own for the first time in his life.
When he thought things could not possibly get worse, Louis went missing at the Somme and was declared dead. While everyone buried and mourned him, Harry never moved on. If Louis were dead, he was sure that he would know it. Their lives were too entwined, he would know if half of his heart had died.
Determined to find Louis, Harry did everything he could in his quest to be reunited with him, except prepare for the state Louis might be in.
He did not prepare for the harsh truth he would have to face: was love possible without memories?

Hello, my friends! I was tagged by the forever lovely @runaway-train-works and @suddenclarityharry to discuss my writing goals for April. I can assure you there is nothing I’d rather be doing than working on my WIP right now!
Here’s the thing.
Real life is kind of discouraging at the moment. My job, which brings me so much joy usually, is so stressful that I feel I might burst into tears at any time. I’m not sleeping, and my refrigerator is bare except for orange juice, and I haven’t seen my family in weeks. I rarely get time to catch up on tumblr, and I miss you guys so very much! I’m afraid you’ll forget about me at times.
So I want to take a moment just to say thank you to the people who always brighten my day when I scroll through my dash. You’re all such lovely people, and I hope someday I can return the favor for your kindness, friendship, and support. My life is better because you’re in it!
If I may, I’d like to dedicate my April fic goals to each of you instead. May you write courageously. May your passion, talent, and authenticity shine through in everything you write. I’m rooting for you, and can’t wait to celebrate your success! Let’s be good to each other, friends. Lots of love xx Cait

As always, the classic high-school rumour mill is never completely reliable. Sure, there are those stories that fly around that turn out to be true—like the one about Niall getting with a model at a party a few months ago (which Louis still struggles to believe)—but this ‘rumour’ has so many versions, and none of them are actually right.
The Sixth Form AU where Louis is the footie team captain, Harry is head boy, and no one at school has any idea that the two of them are in love.
Loosely based on The Wedding Date. Inspired by 27 Dresses. Basically, Fake Boyfriend AU with a twist. Louis’ sister is unknowingly getting married to the ex who broke his heart. When faced with the prospect of turning up alone, Louis panics and hires a corporate escort named Harry. General chaos and epic jealousy ensues.
Harry is a rockstar headlining two nights at Coachella and Louis is an EDM festival goer who manages to sneak into the VIP area with his best friend. He never expected the plan to actually work but then again, neither did he expect to get irritated and tell off someone who would turn out to be the most expected act of the weekend.

Louis was the suffer-in-silence kid everyone ignored growing up. Often times, Louis wondered what he did to provoke such a response and eventually, as he got older and grew more mature, he tended to ignore the people all the same. Perhaps the reason for the students’ ignorant behavior had something to do with the fact that he just didn’t fit in. Despite the fact that he came from a wealthy family who expected nothing but the best for their firstborn among the rest of the students whose parents expected the same, Louis never rubbed his wealth into other’s faces.
She deserves not to be so goddamned put together all the time. Being in the world’s biggest and highest exposure girlband means she’s never seen without a flat stomach, a spray tan, contouring, eyelash extensions, the whole of her body inescapably toned and plucked and waxed so frequently she genuinely forgot what fucking color her own pubes are. Louis wants to eat burgers and smoke weed and be twenty three. She wants to wake up with Harry and spend the whole day in bed fingering each other because they finally don’t have to have goddamn acrylic nails for once. She wants to grow her pubes out. She wants to lounge around in a posh, red-velvet High Hefner robe.
Or, Louis is dressed like a fucking queen, Harry’s begging please.
